Students leave their world behind as they enter the developing world and step into the lives of children living in extreme poverty.
Poverty Encounter is unlike any other field trip. Following the immersive, interactive tour, your class will have the opportunity to take immediate action, helping those in need by bagging food in the Wentz Volunteer Center. This food will ultimately be delivered by church volunteers directly into the homes of children and families living in poverty throughout the world.
Book your visit today, and provide your students with an experience they will never forget.
"It was very impactful to see the real stories of people in specific situations and what their daily lives look like."

"When my two daughters learned there was something they could do to help, they put their hands to work right away. I love that there is a service element included in this experience."

"The experience inspired some really great discussions about poverty with my children. Not only did my kids express genuine gratitude for their many blessings, but they now want to actively volunteer in their communities."

"Every child living in America needs to go through this exhibit."

"Everything from set design to the storytelling was done so well. Our tour guide Becky did such a great job helping our kids process concepts of poverty."
